Bigger and better than ever, 2011 was the third year that WizzFest has run. The festival which had been sold out some weeks before already, took place in Aalter in Belgium on the 19th March 2011, with Blaze Bayley, Fury UK, Lost InSanity, Nightvision, Wizzard, Cambion, Exit State, Visitor, Lime Shark and Spooneye.
This video gives a taste of the event and captures some of the atmosphere and excitement that is WizzFest!

Bigger and better this year, WizzFest 2010 showcased an impressive line-up of bands, featuring acts from the United Kingdom, Belgium, Holland and France. This video gives a flavour of the performances of the bands that appeared at the festival venue in Aalter, Belgium, and also includes interviews with some of the bands and with the organisers of the festival.
The 2011 event will be held on the 19th March - details of the exciting lineup that has been confirmed can be seen in the video. See you at WizzFest 2011!

The Riverside Festival has been the finale of the Stamford Festival for 30 years, originally titled Rock on the Rec and then Music on the Meadows. For the past 10 years it has been run as the Riverside Festival, and in 2007 it was registered as a not-for-profit Limited Company and Registered Charity and is run entirely by volunteers.
We rely on volunteers to help us both at the event and year round, and the more volunteers we have the easier it is for everyone. If you are interested in being involved, either during the festival itself, or all the year round, then please contact us via our web site (www.riversidefestival.co.uk), or mail us at info@riversidefestival.co.uk.

The 4th of July 2009 saw the Stamford Riverside Festival returning for it's 9th year, bigger and better than ever. Catch a glimpse of the wide variety of acts to appear across 3 separate stages at this popular event, and hear what some of the musicians had to say about it's contribution to their careers, the regions music scene, and to the community in general. This documentary style promotional video was produced for the Riverside Association for Music and Arts (RAMA) by MetalOnRock Productions.

this is and we are ... (Rockumentary)
The film follows Peterborough metal legends UNTAMED through 'a day in the life of a gig', not only showing all the hard work and effort that goes into putting their 'Stadium Rock'
show on and getting the gig off the ground on the day itself, but also in the weeks leading up to the gig.
The running time of the film is 30 minutes and will be initially shown on the MetalOnRock and Untamed web sites.
A four part version has also been released for broadcast on our YouTube channel and MySpace site.

Check out the promo music video for 'Blood Soldiers', from Peterborough metal legends Untamed. The song 'Blood Soldiers' is from Untamed's second album 'Insanity Bound'.
The production was based on a live performance video shoot (4 cameras and separate multi-track audio recording), and the use historic archive film clips (courtesy of www.archive.org).

Get a glimpse of some of the hard work and organisation the dedicated team of volunteers undertake to put on the very popular Riverside Festival on the Stamford Meadows on the 1st Saturday of July each year. This outdoor event showcases at least 30 bands and artists on 3 separate stages, and attracts visitors not only from the surrounding area and region, but from all over the UK. Despite of its huge popularity, the festival is always under threat from lack of funding, specially in the current economic climate. This documentary style promotional video was produced for the Riverside Association for Music and Arts (RAMA) by MetalOnRock Productions.

This documentary looks at the aspirations and dreams of a young musician wanting to make a career in the music industry. Featuring Tom Shaw, guitarist in Peterborough's horror punk legends The Ruined, and including interviews, live performance clips and tour footage.
The original version of this documentary was produced in May 2007 (production team George Christou, George Rhodes and MetalOnRock's Hamdy Taha). The video featured here was re-edited by Hamdy and released in November 2008.

Smokescreen released their first official DVD 'Screen For Me Peterborough' in July 2008. This is not only a trailer for the DVD, but also gives a flavour of the excitement and energy of Smokescreen's live performances. With footage taken from the DVD, the video features a medley of short extracts from the Smokescreen songs featured in the program.
Although the performance has been presented in black and white on the DVD, some sections have been show in colour in this video. Enjoy!

After weeks of rain, the sun finally came out for the seventh Riverside Festival on the 7th July 2007. The event proved to be a great success despite being under threat from the weather and from a lack of funds earlier in the year.
This video (released 21st September 2007) captures the essence of the event, allowing those who attended it to relive that day, and look forward to the 2008 festival.

Disbelief
Cambridge based progressive metal band AWAKE, signed with Finnish label LION MUSIC in the spring of 2007. 'Disbelief', from their debut album 'Illumination', was chosen as the track for Awake's first video shoot which happened on March 10th at A & R Studios, Peterborough, UK. The video was filmed and produced by MetalOnRock Productions (released 12th April 2007).
The album was produced by Tom S. Englund of EVERGREY at Division One Studios in Gothenburg, Sweden and was released in early summer 2007.
